"Kalala Station" - Breeding - Fattening - Scale
Kalala Station comprises 3760 km2 or approximately 940,000 acres and is a perpetual pastoral Lease. The station is located 280 kilometres south of Katherine in the Northern Territory and is accessed via the Stuart Highway.
Kalala Station is highly productive pastoral grazing property of significant scale and is extremely well improved. Located to receive reliable annual rainfall of approx 27 inches and features vast areas of fertile black and red soils. Kalala is currently carrying approximately 35,0000 Brahman and Brahman cross cattle inclusive of approximately 20,000 breeding age females. Annual turnoff is approximately 10 to 12,000 head sold mainly as feeder weight cattle. Cattle are trapped on water points and processed allowing cows and calves to remain mothered and return to the paddock. Weaners are trucked to the station yards for tailing and processing.

Amongst the many features of Kalala is the mains power connected to the extensive well maintained station complex which is inclusive of managers , married , single and visitors quarters. The large road train shed is complimented by the workshop, feed storage shed, stables and veggie gardens.
A spelling dip yard facility with registered weighbridge is located at the station which has an approximate capacity of 5,000 head providing market access year round.
